Vic: Melbourne woman accused of robbing dead man walks free

A court has dismissed charges against a woman accused of stealing from a man who collapsed
and died in a Melbourne Park.

SUZANNE SEKULOVSKA was also accused of failing to call an ambulance.

But the 30-year-old has been cleared of charges of theft, attempted theft and reckless
conduct endangering life.

SEKULOVSKA was accused of stealing 69-year-old ADOLPHOUS SUARES' wedding ring and $60,
and waving away good samaritans as he suffered a fatal heart attack.

The man died in Batman Park, next to the Yarra River, on February the 16th, 2004.

The pair had previously left Crown Casino together.

Melbourne magistrate JOHN HARDY said none of the witnesses actually saw SEKULOVSKA
steal the wedding ring or the cash, and said SEKULOVSKA did not appreciate the man's life
was in danger.
