Fed: Families relieved at canyoning death charges
MELBOURNE, Jan 13 AAP - The families of three Australians killed in last year's Swiss
canyoning disaster today welcomed news that manslaughter charges could be laid against
the company that led the tour.
A Swiss magistrate has recommended that eight people be charged with manslaughter after
the canyoning tragedy last July.
Thirteen Australians were killed when a flash flood caused by bad weather swept through
the Saxetenbach Creek, near the Swiss resort of Interlaken.
